2.1 Apple Authentication
All user authentication and subscription management are handled through Apple’s ecosystem. We do not store or process any of your Apple ID credentials or personal login information outside of Apple’s system.
2.2 Account Responsibility
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Apple ID credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Use of the App
You agree to use the Snaip app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
• Upload, share, or create any content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app’s functionality or security.
• Use the app for any illegal activity, including but not limited to infringement of intellectual property rights or privacy violations.
4. User-Generated Content
4.1 Ownership of Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload, including photos and any data generated by the app. By using the app, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, analyze, and transmit this data to OpenAI’s API solely for providing the Services.
4.2 Content Restrictions
You must ensure that any content you upload complies with all applicable laws and does not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
• Use the app in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.

• Uploaded Photos: Photos uploaded to the app are processed locally on your device. No photos or associated data are stored on our servers.
• Text and Tone Analysis: Extracted text from uploaded photos is analyzed locally on your device for tone and content. This data is not stored but is processed temporarily for query results.
• API Data: Extracted data (text and tone analysis) is transmitted securely to OpenAI’s API to generate responses. Snaip doesn't store this data and subjected to OpenAI data policy.
• Device Information: Non-personally identifiable device data, such as device type, operating system version, and app usage statistics, may be collected to improve app performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
• Provide and Improve Services: Process uploaded photos, extract text, analyze tone, and generate responses using OpenAI’s API.
• User Authentication: Manage subscriptions and authentication through Apple’s ecosystem. We do not store or manage personal login credentials.
• Enhance Functionality: Monitor and improve app performance, functionality, and user experience using aggregated or anonymized data.
3. Data Storage and Security
• Local Processing: Text extraction and tone analysis are done on your device. We do not store personal or sensitive data on our servers.
• Transmission Security: Data sent to OpenAI for response generation is transmitted over secure, encrypted channels.
• No Retention: Personal data, photos, and analysis are discarded after processing and are not stored on our servers.
